Some Fun Facts:
Known as the Norsk Skaukatt in its Native Norway, the Norwegian Forest Cat is very similar to the Maine Coon. It is a uniquely Scandinavian breed whose origins are shrouded in mystery, and it is referred to in Norse myths and mid 19th Century fairy stories. The Norwegian Forest cat has a heavy, weather-resistant coat. His strong legs, paws and claws make the Forest Cat a great climber in trees and across rocky terrain. The Norwegian Forest Cat is strong and hardy and can be quite playful while enjoying the company of his human friends!
