The Snowshoe or Silver Laces is a rare cat. The Snowshoe has the thick build of an American Shorthair with the body length of a Siamese and the coloring of a Himalayan or Siamese cat. The white paws are found in that of a Birman cat. The Snowshoe is a hearty and lively cat. He is usually very intelligent and loving and similar to the Siamese enjoys humans too. Its coat needs very little grooming and to keep their white paws ever so immaculate one can dust them with grooming powder from time to time to prevent discoloration.
